ohhhh last week... I was wrapping up school before the holidays, teaching the last NABO Basque class of 2025 and started the Abenduko Erronka - the December Challenge in Basque Skool. And somewhere in all of that I forgot to invite you to join us for the challenge. π€¦πΌββοΈ Oops. Time got away from me. Yesterday was the start of the winter solstice here in the northern hemisphere. In our Day 6 lesson, we looked at the Basque seasons and the months that belong to each one. Since we've officially stepped into negua, I wanted to share the two winter songs I chose for our listening practice.
Here is your plan for the week: Put one of these songs on the next time you review your Basque notes or practice a phrase. Let winter settle in. Listening is one of the easiest ways to stay connected when life is full & you can't sit down to review vocab, grammar, etc. And if you want to join us for the Abenduko Erronka in Basque Skool, it's not too late.
